Mattress cleaning from £25 across Mansfield, Shirebrook and nearby areas. A deep extraction clean removes dust mites, allergens, sweat residue and staining for a healthier night's sleep.
from £25 per mattress
We spend around a third of our lives on a mattress, and it collects sweat, skin cells and dust mites the whole time. For anyone with asthma, eczema or a dust allergy, that matters: house dust mite allergen is one of the most common indoor triggers in UK homes.
Mattress cleaning is quick, low-moisture and does not soak the mattress. We extract from the sleeping surface, treat any staining, and finish with an anti-allergen product. In most cases the bed can be made up again the same evening.
It is a popular add-on for landlords preparing furnished lets, for parents dealing with bedwetting, and for anyone who has bought a second-hand or ex-display bed and wants it properly cleaned before use.
The full surface, sides and seams are vacuumed to lift dust, skin cells and mite debris before any moisture is introduced.
Stains and marks are treated individually with products chosen for the type of staining.
A low-moisture extraction clean lifts residue out of the surface without saturating the mattress core.
We finish with an anti-allergen treatment and deodoriser, then advise on when to make the bed up again.
Mattress cleaning starts from £25 for a single and £35 for a double. King and super king sizes are £40 and £45. Cleaning both sides adds £10, and divan bases can be cleaned from £15.
Most mattresses are dry within 2–4 hours because we use a low-moisture method. If we clean in the morning, the bed can normally be made up again the same evening.
Deep vacuuming and extraction remove a large proportion of dust mites and, importantly, the allergen debris they leave behind. The anti-allergen treatment we finish with helps keep levels down between cleans. Regular cleaning every 6–12 months gives the best results for allergy sufferers.
Fresh incidents usually come out completely. Older, repeated urine staining that has soaked into the core may improve significantly rather than disappear entirely. We'll assess it and be honest about the likely result before starting.
